MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test) is the entry test for every MBBS and BDS seat in Pakistan. After the 2026 test, results have started coming out province by province. Here is how to check yours and what to do next.

How to check your MDCAT 2026 result

  1. Go to the official website of the body that conducted your test. In Sindh this is SIBA Testing Services (STS). In other provinces, check the website of the university named on your admit card.
  2. Open the Results or Announcements section.
  3. Enter your CNIC/B-Form number or roll number exactly as on your admit card.
  4. Download or screenshot your result and keep it safe. You will need it for admission applications.

Beware of unofficial “result” sites that ask for payment or personal details. Results are always free on official websites.

Passing marks

Programme Minimum MDCAT score
MBBS 55%
BDS 50%

Passing does not guarantee a seat. Admission is based on a merit aggregate that combines your MDCAT score with your matric and FSc (or equivalent) marks, using the formula set by PMDC and your admitting university.

How is the aggregate calculated?

The exact weightage is announced in each province’s admission policy. As a general example, the MDCAT usually carries the largest weight, followed by FSc and then matric marks. Always use the formula in your province’s official prospectus.

Answer keys and grievances

Testing bodies usually publish answer keys and allow a short window to submit objections. In Sindh, the grievance deadline was 26 September 2026 at 5 pm. If you believe a question was marked wrongly, submit your objection only through the official grievance system and keep proof of submission.

Note: MDCAT 2026 results in Sindh are being reviewed by an inquiry and a court case. Read the latest update.

What to do after the result

  1. Prepare documents: CNIC/B-Form, matric and FSc certificates (or IBCC equivalence for O/A levels), domicile, photos and MDCAT result.
  2. Watch for admission notices for public medical and dental colleges in your province (for example UHS in Punjab and KMU in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) and apply before the deadline.
  3. Apply to private colleges separately if you want more options; they often have their own portals and fees.
  4. Track merit lists and respond quickly when your name appears, as unclaimed seats move to the next candidate.
