National Freelance Training Program ( NFTP ) was launched by the Ministry of Information technology & Telecommunication ( MoITT ) with the abortion of the ab Information Technology Board ( PITB ). NFTP was launched with a vision to provide freelance training to the youth of Pakistan. NFTP provides freelance training in selected centers across the try but due to the pandemic, t’s now providing online training to empower the youth with different skills relating to IT i.e. digital marketing, technical and creative design.
Courses offered by NFTP
NFTP offers 3 courses technical and nontechnical and freelance is a mandatory course that is to take by every enrolled student. Each course is almost 3+ months long and after successful completion of the course,the students will be awarded certificates.
1: Technical
Technical training course includes;

- Web development basics
- Introduction to programming languages
- Introduction to database
- WordPress development
2: Content Marketing and Advertising
Content Marketing and Advertising includes following non technical courses
- SEO optimized content creation
- Digital marketing
- Blogging
- Lead generation and Search Engine optimization
3: Creative Design
Creative design course includes following components
- Logo designing
- Corporate Identity Kit
- Adobe Suite
How to APPLY for NFTP
NFTP is inviting applications online and the last date to apply for first batch of 2021 is January 22. The application process is totally online and NFTP launches 3 batches in a year. After registration on the al by National Freelance Training Program, the candidate has to take an online test which composes of 30 quizzes. After passing the online test candidate have to verify documents. After the verification of documents candidate is enrolled.
How to start application on NFTP
Go to the following link
https://nftp.pitb.gov.pk/registration
and click ” New Registration ”.
On the next screen, you will be asked to enter your CNIC Number and confirm the Number.
Then you will have to take undertaking and agree to terms and conditions and then click the next button on bottom.
On the next page of the registration portal, you will be asked for personal details like your full name, gender, date of birth, etc.
After filling up all the personal details click on the apply button the end of the page and then you will be sent an email with registration confirmation and password.
In email you will be sent your password to login using CNIC number.
The next step after registration is to take the online on the portal within 72 hours of the registration.
After you have passed the online test you will be sent an email telling you to upload your documents and after verification of your details, you will be get enrolled.
Eligibility criteria for NFTP
The academic qualification of the candidate must be graduation or 14 years of education. Must be a Pakistani National and holding valid CNIC. The entered details during the registration process must be correct and. You must choose the same district and province for training which is mentioned in your domicile.
