Mirzapur is a crime thriller web series released on Amazon prime videos on 16 November 2018. It was direct by Karan Anshuman and Gurmeet Singh. Already a web series  Inside Edge also directed by them in which Vivek Oberoi worked. Inside Edge is also a popular Indian web series.

Mirzapur’s story was written by Puneet Krishna, Vineet Krishna, and series direct Karan Anshuman.

We also can see  Ali Fazal, Vikrant Massey, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu Sharma, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Shweta Tripathi, like the best actors in the Mirzapur web series.

Mirzapur has 8.5/10 ratings on IMBD. This series had a total of nine episodes, and each episode is 35 to 40 minutes long. Every single episode of the series made with 1.5 to 2 crores rupees and the total cost of all web series is about 20 crores rupees.

1. Mirzapur is the third series of Amazon Prime videos Before INDIEDGE  and BREATHE was released with Vivek Oberoi and R. Madhavan respectively. These series were popular but Mirzapur came equal to the Amazon prime to Netflix. 

2. Mirzapur actually was inspired by the Hollywood series Game of Thrones. The plot of both series is common and many scenes are also the same in both series. 

3. The palace of Kaleem Bhaiya is shown in the web series in real that is Moti Jheel Haveli in Varanasi. On that, about eight directors of Mirzapur work hardly for the preparation of shooting. 

4. In the series famous Dialogue by Kaleem Bhaiya  “Vishuddh chu**ye ladke ho tum ” was Pankaj Tripathi owns dialogue.

5. The Kajomal college is shown in the series in real that college doesn’t exist. The shooting was done in Udai Pratap Autonomous College that is in Varanasi

6. For Muna Bhaiya character first edition was given by inside edge famous actor Amit Sial but he was rejected for this character. 

7. In Mirzapur, Shriya Pilgaonkar acts as the elder sister of Shweta Tripathi but in fact, she is much younger than her. Shriya Pilgaonkar also rides a bike in one shoot for that she did one month practice of all two-wheelers including cycle.

8.  In 2019 Mirzapur won 4 awards in the iReel Awards in which best actor award to Pankaj Tripathi, best-supporting actor award to Ali Fazal, best actress award to Rasika Dugal, and Drama series award were given to Mirzapur.  

9. All the web series released till now in them Mirzapur is 5th highest rating websites.

10. In the rating Amazon prime’s series Panchayat on number one with 8.8 ratings, with 8.7 ratings Sacred game is in seconds position, special OPS on third with 8.6, The family man on fourth with 8.6, and in the fifth position is Mirzapur with 8.5 IMBD ratings.
