How to Check Your AIOU Result Online (Matric to B.Ed)
Quick steps
- Go to aiou.edu.pk → Results
- Select your programme and semester
- Enter your roll number
- Save or print your result
Allama Iqbal Open University announces results programme by programme after each semester’s final exams. Here is how to check yours and what to do if something is wrong.
Check your result online
- Visit the official website, aiou.edu.pk.
- Click Results in the main menu.
- Choose your programme level (for example Matric, Intermediate, BA/Associate Degree, B.Ed, M.Ed) and the semester (Spring or Autumn and year).
- Enter your roll number exactly as on your roll number slip.
- Your course-wise result, including assignment and exam marks, will appear.
- Take a screenshot or print the page for your records.
Understanding your result
- Assignment marks and final exam marks are usually shown separately, then combined.
- A course may show as fail if you did not submit assignments, even if you passed the exam.
- “RL” or “result later” usually means something is pending, such as an assignment record or a fee issue. Contact your regional office.
Applying for rechecking
If you think there is an error, AIOU allows rechecking for a fee within a set period after the result. Download the rechecking form from the website or apply through the student portal, pay the fee and submit before the deadline. Rechecking checks totals and unmarked answers; it is not a full re-marking.
Getting your result card and degree
- Result cards are sent by post or can be downloaded from the student portal, depending on the programme.
- Transcripts and degrees are issued after you complete all courses. Apply through the Examinations Department as described on the website.
