How to Apply for Allam Iqbal Open Unversity Admission
The admission process for Aiou is in two stages:
Joint Admissions and
Admission at National Level.
Joint Admission:
Students can also enter 14 programs along with their Play or Degree Programme through NOC (Nationally Operated Certificate). These include; Entrepreneurship, Clothing Design & Technology, Interior Design, Textile Designing, and Engineering Drawing. It is worth mentioning that this course does not provide access to the Aiou campus like the other five programs currently in operation.
Admission at National Level.
Apply: Make sure that your account is active and you have registered, and then go to the home page and look for the ‘Apply Now’ icon;
Get Application Form: Fill up details like personal information, academic profile, and desired program, attach required documents if any; make sure that document or qualification validity dates are not expired;
Submit Application Form: Submit the form with the pin code, new applicant PIN if having one; submit a new applicant PIN along with it if applicable;
Assessment of Application Form: Upload scanned copies of all documents except new applicant PIN sheets if applying for admission in offline mode;
AIOU is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and offers degrees and diplomas recognized worldwide.
Admission to AIOU offers:
-Low tuition fees: Annual tuition fees of only Rs. 5000/-
-Affordable living expenses: Outstation students can find reasonable accommodation options with one room per person at approx Rs. 1500/- per month
-Excellent opportunities for overseas study, internships, work experience for traineeships, etc.
How to Apply for AIOU Admission
2019
AIOU Admission 2019:
1. Students must take a printout of the admission form from www.aiou.edu.pk and fill the form as per the instructions and submit it to the Director of Admissions, AIOU.
2. Admit cards will be sent to the student.
3. Applicants will have to pay Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) as an application fee for the program of their choice.
4. The payment should be made in the form of a Debit Card, Cash, or Paypal.
6. Application fee should be paid by the Due Date.
